Sitting is bad for your health

Long hours, extended screen time and prolonged sitting can take its toll on radiologists. Increased risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and fatigue are just some of the dangers radiologists face in the workplace. The Energise radiology workstation can help to address these health risks.

Alternating between sitting and standing throughout the day can not only offset the harmful effects of prolonged sitting, but also positively impact productivity and engagement. In addition, adjusting positions through the day and keeping moving is healthier and helps to keep blood flowing. This helps increase alertness and productivity when interpreting images.
