On a daily basis patients can access free to use TV with multiple channels, as well as radio, relaxation music, and relaxation imagery too. Entertainment can be used to help distract during anxious times when coming into hospital. Distraction can help reduce patient’s pain levels, which can enable patients to have better mobility, which reduces falls, pressure ulcers and VTs. 

The Fusion system makes sure better information can be given to patients, and moving away from paper leaflets as those leaflets will be electronic on the system. Clatterbridge Cancer Centre’s mission is to provide outstanding care and improve the patient experience and to do this they felt a free system was necessary. Free to use provides equal access across all patients, and patients don’t have to worry or stress about how to access TV/entertainment.
