A team of Parity Medical staff participated in the Wirral 3k Race for Life this month, raising over £2,000 for cancer research!
With the sun shining on us, we set off to have a fun and unforgettable day in Birkenhead Park to fundraise for life-changing cancer research. We also wore signs on our backs bearing the names of friends and family who are going through cancer or have previously fought it.
We’ve been raising funds and changing lives for more than a quarter of a century. At our first event in Battersea in 1994, 750 female participants raised £48,000. Since then, Race for Life has grown into a series of hundreds of events across the country, raising over £970m for life-saving treatments.
