Parity Medical is accredited with the highest level of certifications offered under the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus government-backed scheme for cyber-security. A clear statement of controls to help protect against the growing threat of cyber-attacks.
“Now that Parity Medical are Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accredited, customers will be reassured that they have met, both internal and external cybersecurity controls.” “In particular, Cyber Essentials plus is well regarded, for organisations that need to meet the NHS’s Data Security and Protection Toolkit, as a large number of technical questions are automatically marked as compliant.”
Rory Breen, Lead GDPR, CE + IASME Auditor, Certified Pen Tester (CSTM), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

Cyber Essentials is a foundation level certification designed to provide a statement of the basic controls your organisation should have in place to mitigate the risk from common cyber threats.
Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification offered under the Cyber Essentials scheme. It is a more rigorous test of your organisation’s cyber security systems where our cyber security experts carry out vulnerability tests to make sure that your organisation is protected against basic hacking and phishing attacks.
As industry leaders in digital transformation within healthcare, this achievement demonstrates our cyber security measures.

“It is of primary importance that we do all that we reasonably can to protect ourselves and our customers against the very real risk of cyber-attacks.
The Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification provides us and our customers the peace of mind that both technical and human controls are in place to provide a level of security that allows us all to conduct our business with confidence.”

Rory Breen explains the benefits of the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.

“Why become Cyber Essentials Accredited?
There are many reasons. However, most organisations agree the following are top of their list
1. Reassure your customers that you take Cyber Security seriously
2. Be listed on a gov.uk website, showcasing you have met the standard
3. Attract new business with the assurance that you have cybersecurity measures in place
4. To bid on local and central government tenders”
“Take it to the next level with Cyber Essentials Plus
Cyber Essentials is offered in two tiers; the first, referred to as Cyber Essentials, is a self-assessed questionnaire where an assessor marks your answers.
The second tier is the Cyber Essentials Plus, which involves both internal and external testing of your network and computers. It will involve either an onsite or remote visit to your site and gives more assurance that you are complying with the Cyber Essentials Scheme than the basic self-assessment level.”
