Regional Sales Manager – Field-based in the South of England

Parity Medical provides specialist clinical information access solutions to the NHS and private healthcare providers by positioning technology in challenging clinical environments. Our current technology solutions include mobile wireless computer carts, wall-mounted PC systems, patient infotainment, and medical grade computers and displays supporting applications such as electronic patient records, e-prescribing/medicines administration, bed management, picture archiving and communication systems, theatre systems, and many more e-health innovations. In addition to manufacturing our principal industry solutions, we represent global technology leaders such as Touchpoint Medical, Sony, GCX, Philips, Onyx Healthcare, Zebra, Datalogic, Barco, and Eizo.

The role

The role is to join a growing UK team, operating from your home base in the south of England. This is a regional field role, working closely with prospects and clients in UK hospitals. Working within the sales team, you will generate and build relationships with our client base across the NHS and private healthcare facilities to drive sales of technology-based solutions. You will regularly visit prospects and customers for product demonstrations, account review meetings, consultative solution development, proposal, negotiation, and closing.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to our clients.
  • Scheduling regular appointments/on-site demonstrations with your regional prospects to proactively sell Parity Medical solutions.
  • Process inbound and self-generated leads and track their progress through the sales process using the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system.
  • Actively originate and propose technology-based solutions, negotiate and close opportunities.
  • Support the regional sales teams by identifying new customers and opportunities whilst also maintaining existing relationships through account management.
  • Proactive outbound contact, utilising all media, to ethically and professionally connect with prospects is a requirement.
  • Provide CRM administration to maintain an up-to-date record of all sales events.
  • Manage your pipeline of prospects, leads, and opportunities within CRM. Providing accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to the Senior Sales Manager.
  • Achieving role specific performance objectives.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to succeed in a credible, highly motivated sales environment and have the intellect to acquire a full knowledge of the company’s product range and the applications they support. With demonstratable consultative sales skills, the successful applicant may have an AV/IT or HealthTech background.

You will have a keen interest in all relevant technology-based solutions actively utilised by healthcare providers to improve workflow for clinicians and improve patient safety. In addition, an appreciation of the culture within healthcare providers and their technology adoption processes would be a benefit.

Working within a regional sales team, reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will the face of the business and will spend the majority of your time conversing with prospects in person and via teams.

You will have high personal standards, with the ability to develop intellectual capital and professional ethics. You must be a team player and have strong persuasive skills.

  • Proficient user of common Microsoft applications including, Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams
